    Long-necked shape in calm water

    Witness on the shore observed a dark, elongated shape moving against the direction of the surface ripple for about three minutes. The shape had a raised section that the witness estimated at 1.5 metres. No boat traffic was visible. A second observer, on the far bank, has not been located.

    Observation distance of 420 metres is at the limit where floating debris becomes convincing. The witness’s point about direction is fair: a log moves with the current, and the loch has several. The photograph does not settle it. Recommended: Director’s review.

    Small grey figure in the wash behind the range

    Witness reports a small grey-skinned figure, approximately 1.2 metres tall, standing in a dry wash. Large dark eyes. It did not react to the vehicle headlights and remained motionless until the witness reversed. The witness is the same person as in CFO-2025-0004 and CFO-2025-0007 and has been asked whether they are aware of the pattern. They are.

    A motionless figure at 35 metres in headlights is a familiar misidentification of a survey stake or a large bird. The witness’s track record on the Bureau’s files is otherwise good. The file is held for the Director. Recommended: Director’s review.

    Triangular craft pacing a car on the desert road

    Witness reports a triangular dark object that paced the vehicle for about three minutes at a lateral distance of 200 metres, matching the car’s speed of 30 mph. Lights at the corners. When the witness stopped, the object stopped. When the witness started, it started. Witness would like the Bureau to know this was not a comfortable drive.

    The stop-and-start behaviour is the item of interest. A drone operating in the area would behave this way. The witness filed CFO-2025-0002 ten months earlier and is treated as reliable. The file is held for review pending a check of operator records. Recommended: Director’s review.

    Knocking from the sealed storage room

    A family of five reports repeated knocking from a sealed storage room in the evenings, and an occasional smell of smoke with no source. An elder relative states that the family believes a jinn is present in the apartment and asks that their belief be recorded as they hold it. The family has asked the Bureau not to explain it away. They are not asking for anything else.
