Witness reports a tall, thin figure standing at the roadside in the headlights. Triangular head, long limbs, completely still. As the vehicle passed, the figure rotated its head to follow. The witness reports being unable to move the vehicle for a further 30 seconds. Passenger asleep throughout, and now unhelpful.
“It rotated its head to follow us. That is not a stick.”
The head rotation is the item of interest: it distinguishes this from a Joshua tree, which is the more common candidate in the area. The witness was alert and specific. The Bureau has requested no explanation for the passenger. Recommended for investigation.
